Dear Costco Member,

Costco records indicate that you, or one of your add-on members, have purchased item #4165758 Kirkland Signature Cold Brew Coffee between November 5, 2022, and February 10, 2023.
Berner Food & Beverage and the FDA are recalling specific code dates of this item due to a potential risk of foreign material contamination (a bolt being in the can). No injuries have been reported due to this matter and potential risk is slim, however consumer safety is of utmost importance to us. Affected units will have one of the following October 2023 dates printed on the case and can:
BEST IF USED BY10 19 23, 10 20 23, 10 21 23, 10 22 23, 10 23 23, 10 24 23, 10 25 23, 10 26 2310 27 23
Do not drink any remaining product marked with the above code dates; return the item to your local Costco for a full refund.
No other code dates are affected by this issue.

A: The incident was isolated to a specific production line, which to date has only made product shown in the above October dates.
Q: How did this happen?
A: Corrective action has been identified and implemented.
Q: How will I know if I drank impacted product?
A: Due to the bolt size, you would have heard the bolt inside the can. The likelihood of the bolt falling out of the opening of the can while drinking is slim (requires shaking to get the bolt out) and you would have felt it in your mouth.
